ABOUT ST. RITA’S PSYCHIATRIC ASSOCIATES
St. Rita’s Psychiatric Associates, located in Lima, Ohio, is a Catholic healthcare ministry serving Ohio and Kentucky that offers behavioral health treatment- acute care, PHP, IOP, outpatient treatment to adult men and women struggling with substance abuse, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, mood disorders, PTSD, and more. St. Rita’s does not offer detox.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
The facility’s website provides very little information on the specific modalities St. Rita’s uses for treatment, however, they do utilize medication management, and alumni surveyed by Best-rehabs.com indicated participating in a combination of group and individual therapy.
STAFF CREDENTIALS
The treatment team includes a psychiatrist, a psychologist, a licensed independent chemical dependency counselor, a licensed independent social worker, a certified nurse practitioner, a family nurse practitioner, and a physician assistant.

Four alumni of St. Rita’s Psychiatric Associates have submitted reviews to Best-rehabs.com at the time of this writing. One anonymous alum gave the facility a very positive review across every metric. He gave the facility five out of five stars for treatment effectiveness, accommodations & amenities, and meals & nutrition. Overall, the alum felt that the facility left a positive impact on his life. “I have been sober for 16 years and they really saved my life…I have been given a second chance.”
Another alum, F.B., gave the facility four stars for treatment effectiveness, three stars for accommodations & amenities, and three stars for meals & nutrition. She agreed that the facility staff were experienced and well-trained; that the alum would recommend this facility to a friend or loved one who was considering rehab; and that the facility was clean and well maintained. She felt that strengths of the facility were medication and nurses but her detox period didn’t last long enough because she returned to using.
The third client agreed that it was worth the cost but relapsed two years after leaving the facility, and the fourth highly rated the staff, writing, “The counselor that I had was excellent and I loved the caring way she acted toward me.”

According to the facility’s website, the Lima office accepts a number of commercial insurances, including Aetna, Anthem, and Cigna, as well as Medicare and Medicaid.
