INTEGRIS – Decisions Mental Health and Substance Abuse Treatment Programs Reviews
The attitude of all staff from intakes to psychologists and staff members is amazing. They are positive and friendly and do not treat the patients with disrespect or impatience. ` The only weakness was with my insurance company who only authorized so many sessions/days and then we had to fight for another authorization. The center did all of this for me, but when it was denied I would have to go head to head with the insurance company to get my daughter the care she needed. My adult daughter, still on my insurance, had drug dependencies. She also is bipolar with clinical depression, on top of many other issues. She was abusing illegal drugs as well as her prescribed medications, We had tried treatment prior, without any success at all. I didn't think we would ever find a facility that could handle her many issues at one facility. Decisions Day Treatment Center changed her life. She now manages work, full time school and her personal life, wisely and with few difficulties. Decisions Day Treatment uses a team approach with their patients. There is nothing cookie cutter about them. They take the stigma of mental illness and drug dependency away and focus on what is important, a meaningful life! They also do this without making religion any part of treatment. My daughter was in "day treatment," as my insurance would only allow that since she was not considered a threat to herself or anyone else. Day treatment at most facilities is a joke, at Decisions it was a full time job. She was there 8-10 hours a day, 5 days a week and had to WORK very hard to get where she is today. She didn't want to work at it, didn't think she had problems that were causing her downward spiral. After a few weeks she was crying because she realized she was throwing her life away, was on her last chance with her family and had severely jeopardized her future. She has been out of treatment for 16 months now and is the person we always know she could be. She now has confidence and pride in her actions. She now SEES clearly the affect her actions had on her and others. I can not recommend this facility enough.Take more care of the patient Not paying attention to the patients an their illness Treat them as people not just a no. an pay more attention to the patient treat them with kindness because they are already going through a difficult situation with their illness an they surely don't need someone to make their illness worse...Clean. Good staff It was a great experience. Recovery was faster than they thoughtgreat people who care. i always heard great things about this facility so i wanted to go
