ABOUT MILESTONES FAMILY RECOVERY

Milestone Family Recovery offers evidence-based residential and outpatient treatment programs for adolescents, women, and children dealing with substance abuse. Individuals in need of acute detoxification will be referred to a nearby hospital.

TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT

The Women’s Residential Program at Milestones Family Recovery incorporates stress reduction techniques, nutrition counseling, and evidence-based therapies such as 12-Step programming and group counseling. While the program is structured, women are allowed to bring one child under the age of six for the duration of their treatment. Graduates have access to transitional housing and outpatient groups for up to one year.

The YES House (Youths Entering Sobriety) provides structured residential treatment for adolescents. Teens receive essential recovery and life training skills and engage in family and group counseling, gender-specific groups, and self-help groups.

Outpatient treatment for teens includes daily treatment schedules, Intensive Outpatient Programming (IOP), and regular outpatient treatment. Treatment incorporates family-based therapies and is provided for as long as necessary.

I already felt alone and afraid and lost when I got there and they hurried me thru an intake I didn't understand because I had never been in any kind of treatment before and it was almost impossible to ask a question and get an answer because there was no structure. The week I was there I walked around the place not seeing any groups taking place not meeting with a counselor not once and they basically all walked around and by me like I wasn't even there. No one explained what their schedule or classes were and how they should be geared toward effectively helping u graduate. It was a depressing, hope devouring experience that I never want to go thru again.
