TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
Baylor clients undergo psychiatric evaluations to help identify the biological, psychological, behavioral and social factors affecting clients’ diseases. A physician on staff will help determine the appropriate level of care for clients. Staff help clients develop coping skills, improve mental health outcomes, and overcome emotional problems associated with their diseases.
Common mental health disorders treated include Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), depression, anxiety disorders (OCD, panic, phobias), and binge or compulsive overeating.
