ABOUT MEDMARK TREATMENT CENTERS – BRENTWOOD CLINIC SOUTH
Part of the Medmark Treatment Centers network, the MedMark Treatment Center (MTC) in Fort Worth, Texas offers outpatient (OP) substance abuse recovery services and methadone-assisted recovery to adult clients seeking recovery from opiate addiction. Methadone-assisted detox services are available on site.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
MTC takes a whole-client approach to treatment, focusing on addressing the physical, emotional, and psychological challenges in recovery. Following an initial medical evaluation, clients may enroll in methadone maintenance to reduce and eventually eliminate opiate cravings. A medical professional determines the appropriate dosage for each client.
MTC offers substance abuse counseling in the form of individual and group counseling and psychosocial therapy. With a team of counselors, clients investigate how their addictions began and learn coping mechanisms to prevent future relapses.
Other services at MTC include case management services, lab testing, and discharge planning. For services not available at MTC, including housing or food assistance, MTC can make referrals for clients.

MTC employs nurses to assist with methadone administration. Three reviewers polled by Best-rehabs.com all rated the staff’s level of experience and training four out of five stars.

The anonymous alum rated the facility’s staff support and cleanliness the highest at four out of five stars, while rating most categories, including connectivity and visitor policy, three out of five stars. Exercise and leisure options and holistic treatment offerings received ratings of only one star. In comments, the alum wrote that while at the facility, they “didn’t feel safe.”
On Google, 18 reviewers to date rated MTC an average 2.9 out of five stars, with eight negative reviews, two mixed, and ten positive.
Clients were split on the quality of treatment from staff and whether dosing was admitted properly but most agreed that some of the clinic’s management personnel gave lackluster care toward clients. In most cases, the facility responded, apologizing to negative clients and reaffirming their dedication toward quality care.

One loved one wrote the facility was “affordable” and “easy to access,” while another wrote the facility was “clean and professional,” although there were “not enough facility staff” and there was “no eating place after hours.”
