Secondary sites did yielded some feedback, and it was mostly positive: a 4.3-star average rating based on nine reviews left on Google at the time of this writing.
The reviews included one very negative review from an alum, who cited a lack of staff monitoring and attention, discomfort, a lack of appropriate medications, and poor food. “I met with the Doctor once when I arrived for litterly 10 minutes never been to see him again and I was there for 5 days. I was left all alone in a very cold house with no phone no nurse – nothing. I was lying in bed sweating, shivering, throwing up my medicine, water, Gatorade,” L.L. wrote. However, the other two alumni disagreed: “I never intended for Nova to work and it enabled me to find a different direction,” D.H. wrote; “This is a beautiful home style Detox with a calming Hill Country Setting,” J.M. added.
Of the remaining reviews, a few were written by friends or employees of the facility, though one parent offered very positive feedback: “Our son had an exceptional experience there in detox several weeks ago.
