ABOUT TEXAS HEALTH RESOURCES – BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES
The Behavioral Health Services of Texas Health Resources is a nonprofit organization that operates a network of hospitals in North Texas. We provide a variety of treatment options for adults and adolescents who are struggling with addiction and mental illness. Our services include inpatient and outpatient care, as well as medically monitored detox services.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
Upon admission, all clients undergo a comprehensive assessment to determine the appropriate level of care. Our psychiatric care options include separate inpatient programs and partial hospitalization programs (PHP) for adults and adolescents. We also offer intensive outpatient programs (IOP) that are tailored for different age groups.
For addiction treatment, we have recently opened a new residential facility for adults and adolescents. Our evidence-based practices and 12-step recovery principles form the foundation of our gender-specific programming, which is also separated by age. Treatment plans are individualized and include one-on-one counseling, group therapy, addiction education, relapse prevention, and life skills workshops. We also have an on-site school for adolescents. Recreational and expressive therapies, such as regular physical fitness, yoga, and Tai Chi, are also incorporated into our treatment approach.
Outpatient addiction offerings are available for adults only and include a partial hospitalization program (PHP) and an intensive outpatient program (IOP).
