The main program presented on the Abstemious website is a two-year deferral program, also known as Alcohol/Drug Information School, available to eligible clients facing DUI sentencing. Beginning with one month of intensive outpatient program, clients go on to attend 72 hours in three months, then sessions once a week for six months, and once a month for the remainder of their plan.

Sessions at Abstemious Clinic are offered mornings and evenings. During treatment, clients are encouraged to participate in a 12-step process and community meetings.
