ABOUT ASCENSION BEHAVIORAL AND MENTAL HEALTH
Located in Stevens Point, Wis., less than two hours west of Green Bay, Ministry Saint Michael’s Hospital provides a variety of residential and outpatient mental health treatment services for adults. Clients may include adults, older adults, adolescents and children.

One Best-rehabs.com survey respondent to date, a loved one, gave Ascension mostly positive ratings, rating the facility highest for its connectivity/visitor policy at a perfect five stars, followed by ratings of four stars in family participation and cleanliness. The anonymous loved one rated the facility only two stars for its holistic treatment offerings. They praised Ascension’s “competent staff,” but wrote: “No variety in treatment options.”
In addition, 44 Google reviewers to date collectively awarded the hospital (for its many services and departments in addition to its mental health offerings) a slightly-above-average rating of 2.7 out of five stars. Some alumni discovered “rude” nurses and “poor communication” in general here, while others reported a staff who were “helpful, kind, and understanding.”
