ABOUT QUALITY ADDICTION MANAGEMENT (QAM) IN RACINE, WI
Quality Addiction Management (QAM), located in Racine, Wisconsin, provides outpatient detoxification treatment to adults struggling with addiction to narcotics. Quality Addiction Management operates six additional facilities throughout Wisconsin, located in Waukesha, West Milwaukee, Green Bay, Beloit, Madison, and Sheboygan.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
Clients who wish to be admitted to QAM should contact the facility in their area. Before admission, clients must undergo a physical examination and complete an initial intake history assessment. Most Quality Addiction Management facilities are open Monday through Friday from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, and on Saturdays from 7 AM to 10 AM.
The facility’s treatment program utilizes methadone to eliminate cravings and physical withdrawal symptoms. Methadone, a synthetic opiate, is orally administered on a daily basis under medical supervision. According to QAM, methadone treatment may cause manageable side effects. In addition to receiving prescribed methadone, clients also participate in individual and group therapy, treatment planning, health counseling, a yearly physical examination, and urine drug testing.
The treatment program aims to ensure client comfort while facilitating recovery, eliminating cravings and drug use, and improving overall life functioning. Quality Addiction Management endeavors to provide these services in a confidential environment similar to that of a private medical practice.
