Located in Bakersfield, California, approximately 100 miles north of Los Angeles, Aspire Counseling Services is a private, for-profit facility that offers partial hospitalization programs (PHPs) and intensive outpatient programs (IOPs) for adolescents and adults struggling with substance use and co-occurring disorders.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
Aspire Counseling Services provides evidence-based treatment designed to address each client’s individual needs. Individual counseling and introduction to the principles and practices of the 12-Step program are also provided.
Additional topics addressed in treatment include relapse prevention, co-dependency, self-esteem, parenting, and mindfulness training. Clients in the PHP program also participate in physical fitness activities, meditation sessions, and art therapy.
Upon completion of primary treatment, Aspire offers an aftercare program that involves group meetings. These meetings allow clients to stay connected with the recovery community and reinforce coping skills.
