At Lasting Recovery, we believe that effective treatment for recovery from alcohol and drug addictions as well as co-occurring disorders such as anxiety and depression, PTSD and bipolar disorder, must be facilitated by a licensed and certified multidisciplinary team and include education, group therapy and wellness activities. Our methods of treatment include neurobiological, cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, motivational, wellness programming and family systems perspectives. We encourage participation in community support while in treatment including twelve-step and other recovery groups. In addition we believe weekly random drug and alcohol screening, along with family education groups, and unlimited Aftercare, are essential for long term recovery.
ABOUT LASTING RECOVERY OUTPATIENT TREATMENT CENTER
Set in a modern brick-and-glass building, Lasting Recovery Outpatient Treatment Center is a drug and alcohol treatment center in California’s Sorrento Valley, right outside of San Diego. PHP treatment is available for those who are facing more challenges in their quest to abstain or stay sober, and meets daily.
All clients attend seminars on topics such as addiction and relapse prevention, and are taught techniques to manage symptoms of trauma, anxiety, depression, and other conditions that could trigger a relapse. Lasting Recovery also offers group sessions and individualized treatment, which can include medical treatment, psychiatric services, and holistic therapies such as acupuncture and yoga.
While 12-step meetings are suggested as one option for support, other methods are also encouraged. Secular Life Ring support groups and Women for Sobriety support groups are held weekly at the facility.
Family therapy is provided weekly, and the facility conducts random drug testing. Free aftercare support groups are offered for one year to all clients who successfully complete one of Lasting Recovery’s programs.
