The second phase is the Awareness Phase where clients focus on learning after establishing clinical readiness to change themselves. The third phase is the Action Phase where clients apply what they have learned and put it into action. Phase four is the Responsibility and Commitment Phase; clients begin to make a plan for how they will stick to their commitment to recover after treatment ends.
