TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT

Treatment at the Ranch Recovery Centers begins with a comprehensive, clinical assessment. An individualized treatment plan is developed with each client to address their biological, psychological, and social needs. The residential treatment program incorporates evidence-based practices and 12-step programming. It includes individual and group psychotherapy, trauma care, intense peer involvement, recreational activities, and educational classes on anger management, relapse prevention, and parenting.

All programs at the center integrate 12-Step and counseling approaches. Additional treatment modalities such as recreational therapy and addiction education services are provided to address clients holistically. The center offers a range of activities and educational courses based on each individual’s treatment plan.

Sober living and aftercare support are provided through transitional support and continuing care meetings. Clients are encouraged to participate in local support groups to maintain their sober living skills. • I am very pleased the services provided by the Ranch, I didn't agree with the scheduling but everything else was close to perfect as it could be . For me the staff was attentive and the counseling was effective, even though the methods were a little unorthodox it made since in the end . I would definitely refer a friend or loved one to the Ranch if and only if they are serious about recovery. This is not he place for anyone who just wants a babysitter or just a place to throw a pity party. It is a place for recovery which gives real results.

This place is a joke. 99% of the people there are court ordered to be there. We were the 1% that paid cash. We had little to no knowledge about state funded rehabs, all we knew is it was the only one affordable. Once in treatment, they claim to offer "Medical detox by licensed staff" . They have 19 yr old patients watching over you! They did no search upon arrival of my items or my person. They say there are no cell phones allowed, ALL I saw was every other person on a cell phone. The counselors are hardly present, they hide out in their office while "newbies" are harassed and intimidated by the Court ordered people.

  • 2 of the 5 counsellors are mediocre at best! I was at the ranch in 2016 and needless to say I did not complete the program. However, I did put in 30+ days before I decided that the faculty most importantly the Director is a absoulte joke. Maybe at one time he was passionate about the facility, staff, clients. Although, at this stage in is career he has zero Pride Passion or Perfection. The owners of the Ranch and Company need to open their eyes and get a new fresh face at the Ranch. Someone that actually knows how to show up and be at work more than 6 days out of my 30+ And let me tell you not one of those days was a vacation day. The guy needs to hire quality drug council while he is to lazy to get his fat ass out of bed. Only ones that suffer are the clients whom he lets down. Besisdes the director I give it a 4 out of 10. The daily meetings with staff are suppose to be somewhat educational. However, it's like middle school all over again. Absolutely zero technology and it's all the Staff members opinions nothing that has any True facts or science behind the disease. Anyways I would recommend another Center if you are paying out of pocket. If the county or the prison or jails are paying The tab then it's still a waste of the county's Money. And all the rich people that Donate if they only had a clue of the program

  • So I was in pretty poor shape when I showed up at the ranch. But magic happens there. I was really happy it was a men's recovery center and at that time as bad as it sounds if there were women there I wouldn't have been able to focus on me. I was really lucky that I got there when I did, I had lived a life of drug abuse for many years and never knew there was any other way to live, the ranch gave me back my life and it was the best memories I can remember. I grew up and got clean in desert hot springs.

  • When I was there 8 years ago it was a very basic (not a lot of distractions) facility. We had everything we needed to stay focused on recovery. At the time I was discouraged that there were not more extra curricular activities to participate in. In hindsight it was exactly what was needed.
