ABOUT SOBER PARTNERS NETWORK
Sober Partners Network is a luxury treatment center that provides a full continuum of care and support for individuals who struggle with substance abuse. Located in the picturesque Pacific Coast community of Newport Beach, Calif., the rehab offers on-site detox, residential treatment, outpatient treatment (OP), intensive outpatient (IOP), sober living accommodations, and professional interventions. Treatment can be customized for individuals with co-occurring disorders. There also is an alternative sentencing program for those who face legal issues and executive treatment plans for high profile clients.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
During residential treatment at Sober Partners, clients participate in group counseling, individual therapy, and other therapeutic activities, such as yoga, trainer-led exercise programs, massages, and chiropractic care.
Outpatient services, which are often used as a step-down for those who complete residential treatment, consist of two levels. OP clients attend a few meetings a week in the evenings. IOP participants go to two meetings a day, five days a week in a classroom setting as well as counseling sessions and group therapy.
The sober living program aims to balance flexibility and structure, allowing clients to slowly readjust to the outside world. Sober living residents are encouraged to go to work or school, and must participate in random drug testing.
The center offers support during and after treatment through its “1-On-1 Intensive Track,” which provides three levels of individualized care. In the top sober companion tier, an assigned addiction specialist visits during detox and accompanies the client through the first month of treatment. In the sober coach level, a client sees a counselor three to four times a week with structured time for activities. The sober advisor level, which typically occurs at 90 days of sobriety and extends into aftercare, consists of one meeting per week.
STAFF CREDENTIALS
Staff include professional interventionists, therapists, counselors, addiction specialists, and medical professionals who specialize in managing detox. One staff member polled by Best-rehabs.com at the time of this writing rated the staff’s level of experience and training a perfect five stars.
ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES
Sober Partners maintains multiple residences steps away from Newport Beach and Huntington Beach, which are age- or gender-specific. Photographs depict sunny ocean views and poolside patios lined with palm trees. During free time, clients participate in various activities, including surfing, swimming, diving, kayaking, and golfing.
Residential and sober living clients can opt for private or semi-private rooms. Depending on the facility, clients have access to amenities, such as internet access and housekeeping, as well as luxury offerings including personal chef services and physical training.
WHAT ALUMNI SAY
The two alumni of Sober Partners Network to provide feedback to Best-rehabs.com at the time of this writing were pleased with their experiences. L.M. and Shilyn both gave perfect five-star ratings for treatment effectiveness, accommodations and amenities, and meals and nutrition.
On Yelp, Sober Partners received mixed feedback. Of four reviewers polled to date, two rated the facility a perfect five stars while the other two rated it only one star. Negative reviewers complained of poor billing practices and accommodations, but the positive reviewers argued against those claims. Positive reviewer Bradley wrote: “Most facilities will run someone through detox, get as many residential days as possible, and kick the client to the curb. Sober partners provides them with every level of care, including sober living when they are at the outpatient level. He doesn’t make concessions like allowing couples to room together, which can be a good selling point, but has been consistently shown to be detrimental to recovery.”
WHAT FRIENDS & FAMILY SAY
Parents Ted and Elizabeth provided mixed feedback regarding the care that each of their respective son’s received at Sober Partners Network. While Ted claimed that “We have our son back after almost 8 years of addiction” and thanked the staff, Elizabeth was upset with the treatment effectiveness and suspected staff were unqualified.

Employee L.M., the sole employee polled by Best-rehabs.com to date, rated Sober Partners a perfect five stars in all 15 categories surveyed, describing the facility as a “wonderful welcoming destination to change your life.”
FINANCING
Fees vary by program. The cost for one month of residential treatment starts at $3000 for a semi-private room. Outpatient and IOP treatment ranges from $500 to $1500 per day. Detox services cost $3,500 per day, and intervention service fees start at $1,500. Sober living fees range from $750 to $10,000 per month.
According to Sober Partners Network’s website, most services require private pay, but a few services will accept private insurance plans including Aetna, Anthem, Cigna, HealthSmart, Humana, and Magellan.
