Our team of substance abuse experts is available and prepared to provide assistance upon your call for help at any time.

The Santa Clarita Valley Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program is an effective alternative to residential treatment for clients who are unable to temporarily leave school, work, or other life commitments.

This program offers comprehensive care for substance abuse, dual diagnosis, and other mental health issues, within a secure and structured environment that fosters hope and healing.

ABOUT ACTION FAMILY COUNSELING INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT PROGRAM – SANTA CLARITA

Action Family Counseling extends its residential and outpatient care services throughout Southern California, including The Ranch and an intensive outpatient program in Simi Valley.

Action Family Counseling operates residential facilities in Santa Clarita, California and provides an intensive outpatient (IOP) program that caters to adults and adolescents, including those with co-occurring mental health disorders.

TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT

Upon admission, clients undergo a thorough assessment process to determine the appropriate level of care. Treatment may be attended as a step-down from residential care or as an entry-level program for individuals new to treatment.

The treatment duration spans 90 days, with a minimum requirement of attending treatment three days per week for three hours per day.

In IOP, Action Family Counseling places a strong emphasis on 12-step programming and offers a combination of group and individual therapy, addiction education, and relapse prevention. The groups are tailored to specific age groups (adolescents aged 12 to 17 and adults 18 and older), and family sessions are conducted on a weekly basis.

Additionally, the facility provides aftercare planning and facilitates referrals to other organizations following the completion of treatment.
