ABOUT YELLOWSTONE RECOVERY
Yellowstone Recovery, located in Costa Mesa, California, offers a comprehensive range of substance abuse treatment programs for adult men and women. These programs include detoxification, residential treatment, outpatient care, and sober living homes. All of our treatment options are based on 12-step principles and incorporate various treatment approaches.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
Upon admission, residents undergo a medically supervised detoxification (when necessary) before entering the primary stage of residential care, which lasts for 30 days. During this period, contact with family members and loved ones outside the facility is not permitted. Treatment sessions are held Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
As previously mentioned, our treatment is rooted in 12-step principles and incorporates a variety of treatment modalities. Clients receive individual counseling once a week and participate in daily group therapy sessions. They are also required to work with a 12-step sponsor and attend nightly A.A. meetings.
After 30 days, residents progress to the second phase of residential treatment. During this phase, they have the opportunity to apply the coping skills they have developed in the initial phase. They are also encouraged to seek part-time employment, with assistance provided in finding a job relevant to their skills. At this point, the 30-day blackout period is lifted, and visits with loved ones are encouraged.
For graduates of residential treatment, our center offers an outpatient program as a step-down option. Outpatients are expected to complete bi-monthly assignments and attend weekly group sessions and AA meetings.

At Yellowstone Recovery, we employ certified substance abuse counselors, case managers, and court liaisons.
ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES
Our residents live in two recovery homes in central Orange County. Each home is run by house managers and is located less than two miles from the beach. The living areas feature comfortable couches and shared bedrooms. As for recreational activities, we offer softball, volleyball, swimming, and art, animal, and music therapy.
