ABOUT BLUE SKY TREATMENT
Blue Sky Treatment, located in the beachside community of Lighthouse Point, Florida, offers comprehensive partial hospitalization and outpatient programs for adults struggling with chemical dependency or co-occurring mental health disorders. The facility does not provide on-site detoxification services.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
Upon admission, clients undergo an initial assessment to determine the appropriate level of care. Our partial hospitalization program (PHP) requires clients to reside in specified sober housing, unlike other PHP programs that offer more independence. We provide transportation to on-site programming and community 12-step meetings, and clients receive six to eight hours of daily programming five days per week.
To support long-term recovery, clients participate in psychoeducational classes and receive weekly individual, group, and family therapy. Our facility also offers medication consultation and management as needed.
In addition to traditional treatment methods, Blue Sky Treatment incorporates a range of recreational activities into the program, including group sports, nature walks, equine therapy, movie outings, trips to the gym, guided yoga, and therapeutic gardening.
Typically, PHP lasts from one week to one month. Upon discharge, clients are encouraged to continue their treatment through our intensive or regular outpatient programs as step-down aftercare. These programs offer day and evening sessions. During outpatient care, clients also participate in the Life Skills Program, which helps them rebuild their resumes, practice interviewing, and manage their money and time. The regular treatment requires two sessions each week, while the more intensive track allows for three to 10 weeks of increased attention.

Blue Sky Treatment is led by medical and clinical directors. Our multidisciplinary team includes certified substance abuse counselors, nurses, and licensed clinical therapists.
ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES
Blue Sky Treatment operates a complex of 10 sober living townhouses that can accommodate up to 60 clients. Located in Deerfield Beach, these townhouses offer furnished and upscale accommodations, with separate residences for men and women. Each house consists of three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a full-sized kitchen. Clients share spacious and well-furnished communal areas. The facilities are supervised 24 hours a day and feature an on-site pool, clubhouse, and cable TV.
WHAT ALUMNI SAY
Reviews from former clients of Blue Sky Treatment are mostly negative. Out of six former clients who provided feedback, four gave low ratings. The five alumni who rated treatment effectiveness gave a collective rating of 2.8 out of five stars.
One alumni, G.D., gave five out of five stars for treatment effectiveness and four out of five stars for accommodations and amenities. They stated, “They provided me with the tools necessary to live a sober and happy life again, and helped me pinpoint the underlying causes of my addiction. I recommend Blue Sky to all who are in need of outside help. I wouldn’t be where I am today without them.”
However, other alumni were critical. A.B. gave only one out of five stars overall and reported, “Very rude staff, unfair treatment of clients.” Another alumni, Alice, gave a similar low rating and warned, “I highly suggest anyone who wants help does not step foot in that facility.” Blue Sky Treatment responded to Alice’s comment, questioning the motive of the comment and stating, “Generic comments clearly not made out of first-hand experience or made by a disgruntled client.”

FINANCING
The PHP at Blue Sky Treatment costs $15,000 per month, and $45,000 for 90 days of treatment. The facility accepts a range of private insurance providers to cover program costs.
