The Treatment Center

The Treatment Center Lake Worth Florida

Hope is the central focus of the treatment philosophy at the Treatment Center in Lake Worth, Florida. This facility combines the 12-step model with evidence-based recovery treatment to recognize addiction as a treatable disease. Our clients recover in a luxurious setting while undergoing comprehensive and professional care, using the most current medical, therapeutic, and holistic treatments.

ABOUT THE TREATMENT CENTER

Located in Lake Worth, Florida, The Treatment Center provides residential and outpatient-based substance use treatment for adults, including individuals with co-occurring mental health disorders. Our facility also offers medically managed, 24-hour supervised detox services.

TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT

Upon admission, each client receives an individualized treatment plan. The residential program can vary in length, but typically lasts 35 days. Treatment at our facility combines the 12-step methodology with evidence-based practices. It includes one-on-one counseling, group therapy, and a variety of holistic therapies and recreational activities such as yoga, massage, Tai Chi, volleyball, art/music therapy, and meditation.

For those seeking a Christian recovery, we offer a specialized faith-based track that includes pastoral counseling, prayer, Bible study, Christ-centered 12-step meetings, and worship services. We also have a court liaison program for clients with legal issues, as well as a two-day intensive family workshop. After completing the program, clients receive comprehensive aftercare plans, which may include transitioning into our intensive outpatient program (IOP) or our partial hospitalization program (PHP), among other outpatient program (OP) options.

STAFF CREDENTIALS

With a staff-to-client ratio of 2:1, we provide highly personalized attention. Our treatment team includes medical doctors, psychiatrists, psychologists, counselors, and nurses. The experience and training of our staff have been praised by the seven individuals polled on this metric.

ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES

Our facility can accommodate up to 144 clients. Residents stay in simple, shared accommodations with two or three beds per room. Meals are prepared on-site and served cafeteria-style. The cleanliness and upkeep of our facility have also been rated highly by the seven individuals polled.

WHAT ALUMNI SAY

Alumni reviews are mostly positive. Of the 12 former clients who responded numerically to the survey, 10 gave the facility high ratings for overall effectiveness of treatment. Alumni also praised the counseling options and holistic offerings at our facility. Many alumni described their experience as “life-saving” and expressed gratitude for the care they received.

However, there were a couple of less satisfied former clients who criticized the facility for its focus on money and found the discharge process difficult.

WHAT FRIENDS & FAMILY SAY

Most of the six loved ones surveyed offered positive feedback. Similar to alumni, the majority of friends and family who rated the facility gave high ratings for its overall effectiveness. Family members also felt that the facility offered ample family participation. The common complaint was that there were too many clients per staff, despite the facility’s claim of a 2:1 staff-to-client ratio.

FINANCING

The facility accepts major insurance policies, including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Humana, and United Healthcare. Overall, the individuals polled felt that the facility was generally affordable.

  • This place used to be great but now it is absolutely trash. I first went to this place in 2016 and it was great but even then you could tell it was all about the money but all together it was still a good place to be. Then when I had to go back to 2nd time there was a new CEO and CFO and clinical director, ran this place into the ground. And now as of 2018 she has left for whatever reason and her husband has to. The staff are terrible they fired all the good people or they quit because they even knew this place was terrible, the food was disgusting this last time around, the groups were not helpful in any form, and I ended up leaving AMA because the only thing me staying there was doing was making me want to use even more. So I highly suggest if you need somewhere to go or you have somebody you need to send somewhere to get sober.. FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE. This place is TRASH.

  • I am 2012 alumni of TTC and also worked there for almost 5 years. In 2012-2015 I would give TTC 4-5 stars. Up until about 2016, this was a promising program that cared about their patients and employees. The former CEO, made sure of that. When he was pushed out and a new self proclaimed “regime” came in, the quality of the clinical side of program took a dive along with all their ethical practices. The program is now run by a lawyer who flies in from Arizona every other week, with no experience of recovery or addiction treatment. The insurance billing practices have also come into question. The census of patients began to dive, naturally, with a series of layoffs of staff to follow. Several valued employees brought ideas and change initiatives to the new exec staff, all of which were shot down. TTC took on a corporate feel and the patients, along with the staff, are treated as another number in the system and dollar signs. It’s a shame and really sad to watch the lives of patients and staff here slowly degraded and disrespected. I wish I could say I still believe in this program because on April 20th I will have 6 years clean. That journey started at TTC. I can no longer make the recommendation for treatment here with a good heart or right mind. There are still good programs out there - do your research. Ask lots of questions, as a patient, or as a loved one.
I was there four years ago it saved my life Still clean today Thank you

  • Beware of The Treatment Center of The Palm Beaches, It used to have a decent program but when I returned recently for treatment I noticed everything had changed and more importantly there was only 16 patients. The staff changed also and they have this lady running the place who is supposedly a lawyer to help the place. My mom also said she received all these bills from my last stay when I was told everything was covered all I had to do was pay $25 toward my flight and they would cover the rest. So I would stay far away from this place, I guess there was a reason they only had 16 patients as opposed to 100 the last time I was there.

  • The rooms are not as they appear, the techs are not trained and patients have to ask for vitals and meds, not on top of their game or schedules. Its like an army barrack.

Staff very helpful. Groups and classes were good, learned a lot.
NO rehab is going to work if YOU, or your child, are not entirely ready. Unfortunately, I've seen better and worst places. What I really appreciated about this place was the 3 available tracks that were offered. AA, NA or religious if that's what one prefer. They will guide you in the right direction but first you, or your child, has to practice the principal behind step 1 which is honesty. Anyway, as the old saying goes "if you don't have anything nice to say......."

  • Well to start off with this place I never should have been there I was at another rehab and got transferred there I got there with a bad attitude the first week stunk the second week was okay the third week I had a few epiphanies the therapist at this drug rehabilitation / life-saving operation these people are amazing they saved my life I've been to 3 rehabs prior to this one and I never knew that there was a reason that I was using you know there's a reason that we're hurting ourselves we're not just doing it for no reason if you can pass this message on to anybody or help anyone with it I'd be grateful and thankful these people taught me a way of a whole new life a sobriety life I used to live in Kansas City Missouri now I'm in Colorado Springs living the sober life with good people and good things are happening to me it's amazing when you're doing right right happens
My daughter has been at the clinic since 9/23....I talked once with a nurse and once with a patient advisor. I have since made numerous calls and sent two emails and to date have had no response. Lack of communication with family is serious. I can't believe how insensitive they are to the families of loved one. I would to be supportive in her healing process. I would not give this facility one star.

  • OK overall.
After many attempts at tackling my addiction and alcoholism on my own, I failed miserably. 19 years of drinking, drugging, and multiple attempts at out patient treatment led me to a dark place. I had literally no hope left facing yet another DUI (5th). The only thing I hadn't done was completely surrender. In leaving Ohio, and going to TTC, I didn't know what to expect yet I knew God had control over my circumstances and what was to come. He (God) met me at TTC. He nurtured me with His presence through a very tough process of becoming honest with myself. I'm not perfectly fixed by any means and I have plenty of work left to do, but I'm willing, open-minded, and honest enough to work steps to get better day by day. I am blessed to say today, that I'm 139 days sober. My name is Archie, and I'm definitely an alcoholic. I'm His perfect mess of a servant, and I wouldn't have it any other way!

  • Always keep you busy, with 12 step meetings and classes for fun as well being a lock down was verry hard and the watching and checking up every 20 minutes was differcult I enjoyed the way they helped realize that there is fun after treatment
Thus is a money making business. They advertise dual diagnosis but the faculty and staff cannot recognize the dual diagnosis. They have the same kids coming back over and over as there program does not work. Your kids are the merchandise that they use to make money. They are unprofessional. The legal department are clueless on the program. The head pshyciatrist does not no how to handle the patients at all. This was an extremely disappointing exp for my son. Think twice before sending a loved one to this uncaring facility that treat your loved ones as merchandise to make money and not humans. They have the same people coming back continuously should tell you the program does not work. The communication with the family is terrible even with consent. Very sad and very disappointing. It could cost someone their life!
I had read bad reviews on this place but my family member chose to go to this center. On the phone the intake specialist was awesome and told our member directly that they were going to be in lockdown..well so far so good, he says it is a tight leash which he really needed. He will be completing his 35 days soon and he is very focused and positive!! He has stuck it out and the family workshop for 2 days I would highly recommend!!! The therapists are amazing!! He along with the family think very highly of them. In the end the patient has to be compliant and willing. As a family we had a couple issues with communication at the facility but overall based on what he has shared so far I would definitely recommend the treatment center. Not everyone will have the same experience but our family has no complaints!

  • This place really stinks, it's all about the money. I left against medical advice. Lots of other things that I'm not going to mention right now.
This place is really nice as far as accommodations go, but I see that there are only a few comments about this place here makes me think that someone is screening the reviews posted here and only allowing only the POSITIVE comments to show or they are deleting the negative ones because, although the accommodations were nice and the activities are fun, there are some pretty negative things I experienced there and I'll just put it this way.... You better be sure you want or are able to spend an indefinite amount of time there because this facility is difficult to leave (even if you checked yourself in) it reminds me on the Eagles song, "Hotel California" you are at their mercy the moment you finish the admissions procedure. They NEVER will allow you to make any calls to your family (unless a therapist is present) they are manipulative, they lie, they take your money and they never give you access to a phone (unless you've been there for at least 20 days) if you go a.w.o.l. You will only have the clothes on your back. Because I had to leave before completing treatment because of an emergency medical situation I found myself (I needed emergency surgery) and I spent several insidious days trying to get discharged and call my husband! I ended up going a.w.o.l. It's a good thing I listened to my body and my severe pain and not them because I needed surgery!

  • The help I received from the many different methods of treatment, massage, theraputic, chiropratic, plus spiritual healing was amazing. The hardest part of the treatment was being around the other patients who would use foul language and complain all the time. Most everyone who worked at the facility was great. Really great. I got along with everyone. I wish many times I could afford to send my daughter who has no insurance and is addicted to heroine. She is in Florida right now needing a place to get in house treatment. But has no money.

  • I can sum it up into three words.. saved my life.. top of the line care and you don't just feel like another number trying to get pushed through the door. Every treatment center should model themselves to TTC because its obvious they truly care and have the best after care and treatment plans set for you when your time comes to move on to the next step...my higher power brought me to TTC on my death bed and I left alive for first time in my life I owe a great thank you to all staff because they truly care and want the best for you and give you the best opportunity to succeed in your life of soberity
