ABOUT Q HEALTH PALM BEACH

Located in West Palm Beach, Fla., Q Health Palm Beach is a private treatment facility, which make up about 52 percent of all treatment facilities in Florida. It offers medically-managed detox, intensive outpatient programs, and sober living homes to individuals struggling with substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.

TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT

According to Q Health Palm Beach’s website, treatment starts with an initial, confidential assessment to determine the appropriate level of care. For many people, the next step is inpatient, medically managed detox, which typically lasts between three and 10 days.

During opiate detox treatment, clients are monitored 24/7. The goal of detox is to rid the body of toxins, and clients are given medication to help with withdrawals, and promote rest.

After detox, clients often continue treatment in an intensive outpatient program (IOP) while living in sober living houses. During IOP, clients attend treatment three to five days a week. The treatment team utilizes evidence-based treatments to help clients who are struggling with substance abuse or other mental health disorders such as depression, anxiety, and traumatic disorder.

Programming includes group and individual counseling, exploration of past traumas and emotions, career and education counseling, and development of relapse prevention program. Family therapy is also available. Also, each client has access to the entire treatment team including nutritionists, fitness instructors, chiropractors, and message therapists.
