TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
The center aims to provide individualized care using a variety of treatment modalities.
Clients requiring a high level of structure and intensity of treatment are typically referred to the center’s partial hospitalization (PHP) program. Participants at this level engage in a full day of programming and attend 12-step meetings in the evening. Treatment consists of individual counseling, group therapy, family therapy, educational groups, discussions on spirituality, and holistic activities, such as massage therapy, animal therapy, meditation, and yoga.
Intensive outpatient (IOP) treatment is often used as step-down from PHP and typically lasts for three to six months. During this time, clients attend nine hours of group therapy per week, in the daytime or the evening, and receive individual therapy and sessions with a nurse practitioner who specializes in psychiatry.
Outpatient (OP) treatment is similar to IOP, but is less time intensive; clients may customize their treatment according to their needs. Individuals who complete any of the center’s programs are provided with anthat focuses on relapse prevention.
Every month, the center offers a three-day family workshop that includes lectures, workshops, and speakers.
The center’s treatment team includes counselors, nurses, and other wellness specialists. The center can also provide bilingual treatment. The single alum polled by Best-rehabs.com to date gave the facility five out of five stars for its staff’s level of training and experience.
WHAT ALUMNI SAY
The single alum polled by Best-rehabs.com to date would strongly recommend treatment at The London Treatment Center of Florida. “The staff working there is very well trained , it has many recreation areas and clean… It is a unique rehabilitation center,” the anonymous reviewer wrote, indicating that their only reservation was the rather high price tag. The reviewer gave the facility four or five stars in all 15 of the evaluated treatment metrics; five-star ratings were awarded to, among other things, the center’s treatment effectiveness, family participation, and exercise/leisure offerings.
Secondary sites yielded mostly positive feedback at the time of this writing, with a 4.5-star average rating based on eight reviews on Google, and a 4.4-star average rating based on 12 reviews on Facebook, where the facility can manage its own page. Of the two negative reviews, one complained of an individual being ejected from treatment without their family’s knowledge, leaving them to go missing, and the other complained of scheduling conflicts with their family life.
Otherwise, reviewers repeatedly praised the center’s staff and program, often crediting it with their sobriety. “Great place to work on yourself, only works if you want it to and you put in the time and effort. Awesome staff who care about you as a person and will help in anyway they can,” B.W. wrote in a representative review on Google.
The daily cost of treatment is $250. One month of treatment is priced at $7,500, and 90 days costs $22,500. The center accepts a number of private insurance plans on an out-of-network basis.
