Atlanta Healing Center is a private for-profit organization, which make up 51.9 percent of all treatment facilities in Georgia, according to a 2016 SAMHSA survey.


Atlanta Healing Center provides a variety of assessment services for a broad range of disorders and conditions, including co-dependency, co-occurring issues, and chronic pain with addiction. The center offers psychiatric evaluations as well as professional and legal evaluations and metabolic testing.

Atlanta Healing Center subscribes to the disease model of addiction and aims to provide holistic care, treating the mental, spiritual, and physical aspects of addiction. Therapy sessions are available in individual, group, couples’, and family settings. Treatment modalities include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) as well as less conventional options, such as brain mapping and neurofeedback to reduce cravings.

As part of its holistic approach, Atlanta Healing Center aims to repair damage done to the body through addiction. As such, it offers a variety of hormonal therapies and regenerative products, including TA-65, an anti-aging compound and supplement.

One of only 55 treatment facilities (17.5 percent) in Georgia to offer medically-assisted detoxification on an outpatient basis, the center utilizes Suboxone and Vivitrol to help reduce cravings and minimize withdrawal symptoms.


Staff includes a board-certified addiction psychiatrist and certified addiction counselors. Though no further information regarding treatment staff is provided by the center’s website, the single individual polled by to date gave the facility four out of five stars for its staff’s level of training and experience.


Though has not received any reviews from alumni to date, six reviewers on Google offered mostly positive commentary.[1] Giving an average 4.3 out of five-star rating, the alumni repeatedly praised the center’s staff, in particular, its founder. “She has a fresh take on addiction and her process works amazingly well. Success became a possibility with her guidance,” S.C. wrote in a representative review.

The single negative reviewer alleged that staff members had abandoned clients in Canada, though none of the other reviews corroborated this story.


The single loved one polled by to date gave a review that was generally positive. In commentary, the anonymous loved one praised the center’s payment plans. The reviewer gave the facility five stars for family participation, three stars for treatment of co-occurring disorders and holistic offerings, and four stars in most of the remaining treatment metrics, including counseling options. The lone criticism they had of the center was that there is a “small staff.”


According to the center’s website, Atlanta Healing Center works with most insurance companies and accepts cash, checks, and major credit cards. The single individual polled by to date gave the facility four out of five stars for its affordability.
