Atlanta Recovery Place

Atlanta Recovery Place Atlanta Georgia

ARP’s mission is to provide a comprehensive program with an emphasis on 12 step recovery, therapy, and education. Our goal is to guide our clients through the recovery process so they can move on to lead happy, healthy, and productive lives.

ABOUT ATLANTA RECOVERY PLACE

Atlanta Recovery Place is a licensed treatment center that offers multiple outpatient treatment programs and supportive housing for males and females, ages 16 to 80.

TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT

Atlanta Recovery Place recommends a minimum of 90 days of treatment, though length of stay is ultimately determined following an initial evaluation that factors in a client’s physical, psychological, spiritual, and family needs. Treatment is appropriate for individuals dealing with addictions to alcohol, heroin, opioids, cocaine, sleep aids as well as co-occurring mental health issues like depression, anxiety, trauma, bipolar disorder, and posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

At the highest level of care, partial hospitalization (PHP) programming is ideal for clients in need of a supportive, structured setting without the 24-hour care. Intensive outpatient (IOP) treatment then serves as a step-down option from PHP, while standard outpatient care is geared towards those unable to take time away from work, family, or school. Treatment modalities used include individual and group therapy, 12-step meetings, psychoeducational groups, life skills training, and family sessions.

In each of these tracks, clients have the option to reside in a supportive housing community for 90 days or longer. Aftercare offers clients an opportunity to engage more fully with their community and other needed services.

STAFF CREDENTIALS

ARP is led by a clinical director who’s a licensed clinical social worker. Upon admission, clients are assigned to a treatment team comprised of a physician, psychiatrist, family counselor, continuing care coordinator, and other professionals.

WHAT ALUMNI SAY

Each of the two alumni to leave reviews on Best-rehabs.com to date both recommended treatment. Former client M.J. found the staff professional and wrote: “The staff there is professional in all areas and treat clients with dignity respect at all times, I would recommend ARP to anyone seeking to maintain long term recovery.” Another alum, Jessica, wrote, “I got to focus on me and really get my stuff together. Everything is organized and laid out for you so you can focus on your recovery.” While M.J. did not offer ratings for any metrics, Jessica rated treatment effectiveness and accommodations and amenities five out of five stars.

ARP also has four- and five-star ratings from three Google reviewers as of this writing.

WHAT FRIENDS & FAMILY SAY

Proud parent Jeffrey told Best-rehabs.com of a staff who were “supportive, kind, hardworking, (and) knowledgeable.” He gave 10 out of 10 stars in indicating how strongly he’d recommend treatment, as well as five out of five stars for the staff’s level of training and experience, their availability, the holistic opportunities, and the affordability and cost-worthiness of programming.

Additionally, a parent called Susan wrote in a Best-rehabs.com review, “We had no contact with our daughter for 30 days, and it was the best thing for the both of us.” They also gave the facility perfect five-star ratings for the three metrics rated.

WHAT STAFF SAY

Feedback provided by two employees of ARP was excellent. Both awarded 10 out of 10 stars in indicating how strongly they’d recommend the program, as well as five stars for the counseling options available to clients, the level of safety and comfort provided, and the holistic and exercise opportunities. Collectively, staff found the program to be professionally run and well-managed, though one felt it needed more time, as a new facility, to be “recognized in the market.”

FINANCING

The cost of treatment varies in accordance with various factors like length of stay, diagnosis, and insurance coverage.

Atlanta Recovery Place Reviews

Let me be the first to say I was all against sober living. I was quite amused at all the things that I had in my head. The I miss were nice even though Notting Hill the apartments facility itself could do better way better at keeping the apartments up to standards for what clients pay to stay there I love Dunwoody as I City it is a great place to stay and grow.. there are some great therapist there however few and far between....... I had some great breakthroughs as far as working with my sponsor wish that greatly encouraged .but near the end I have to summarize with ARP IT'S ALL ABOUT THE ALMIGHTY DOLLAR. I HAD SIX MONSTER NEVER GOT IN TROUBLE I'M NOT ON HEROIN THEY FOUND OUT THAT I HAD FMLA AND GREAT INSURANCE WITH CIGNA AND THEY WANTED ME TO START MY PROGRAM ALL OVER AGAIN BECAUSE THEY FOUND ALCOHOL IN MY URINE.NOT CARING ABOUT THE FACT THAT THEY SEE THAT I HAVE A JOB AND I WORK MY PROGRAM TO THE FULLEST I HAD A SLIP UP AND I AM DEDICATED TO TRYING TO STAY SOBER..THESPECIAL CAN ALMOST OVERDOSE ON HEROIN AND THEY COME BACK AND JUST LET THEM START RIGHT BACK TO A NORMAL PROGRAM N A JOB PAYING PLAY PLAY MONEY BUT WITH ME BECAUSE THEY KNOW I HAVE GOOD INSURANCE THEY WANT TO SUCK UP OFF OF CIGNA AND MAKE MISS. THE PROCESS ALL OVER AGAIN. OH AND THEIR EXCUSES OH YOUR JOB CAN FIRE YOU. That's where they're right my job can't fire me but I refuse to give one more time to such a malicious money hungry prejudice program like IOP ever again in my life. Buyer be Ware. they cater to people who just want to sit around and do nothing and suck up on their parents insurance can continue the drug life forever
Everything ARP has done for me and is dong for me is tailored to my needs as an individual. My treatment and recovery process has been carefully crafted by staff to make sure that I succeed and continue forward with the life skills and motivation to achieve and maintain long term, joyous, active recovery.
This is a great IOP program! The staff here are awesome! They treat you very well, it is a good place to go if you are serious about getting clean. The sober living is in nice apartments that are walking distance from the IOP, there are nice tv's in each apartment. There are many stores and restaurants nearby if you are trying to get a recovery job. I highly recommend this program! I have stayed sober since graduating the program last October
Horrible rehab. Staff and patients constantly starting rumors and spreading gossip. Very unprofessional rehab.Official Facility Response:We appreciate your feedback. We strive to improve each day with care and professionalism. We continue to follow our policies and procedures, unfortunately, we are not in control of any of our client's interpretation of any given situation. We wish you the best in your recovery!
We had no contact with our daughter for 30 days, and it was the best thing for the both of us. Her spirt is coming back every day because of the staff and structure of Atlanta Recovery Place.
