ABOUT WILLOWBROOKE AT FLOYD IN ROME, GA

Willowbrooke at Floyd, located in Rome, Ga., offers inpatient and outpatient treatment to children, adolescents, and adults struggling with mental health and/or substance abuse disorders. Willowbrooke at Floyd operates as a branch of the Floyd Medical Center, which is a healthcare provider serving Northwest Georgia and Northeast Alabama. TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT

To be admitted, clients may call the facility’s 24-hour help line to schedule a confidential screening. The Willowbrooke outpatient program meets three to five days per week for between two and five hours at a time. The facility’s partial hospitalization program meets five days per week for four hours at a time. Partial hospitalization treatment lasts for two to six weeks.

The facility’s treatment program is able to address a number of mental health issues including ADD, ADHD, anxiety disorders, behavioral disorders, depression, impulse control disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, schizophrenia, and addiction.

Throughout treatment, clients receive individual and group therapy, diagnostic assessments, psychiatric evaluations, medication services, nursing services, skills training, case management services, and crisis intervention. Families are able to be included in the treatment program through family therapy. Willowbrooke at Floyd also offers unique treatments and therapy including animal-assisted therapy and expressive therapy using art, drama, music and poetry.

The anonymous employee gave the facility four out of five stars for affordability, five stars for cleanliness, and five stars for exercise options. The staffer felt that a strength of the facility was that staff put the best interest of the clients first: “has the best interest of the patient above others.” The anonymous staff member was unable to generate any criticisms, and did not rate any metric below four stars.
