Located in Edwardsville, Ill., Addiction Treatment Strategies offers a long term intensive outpatient treatment program for adults struggling with substance abuse. The program utilizes medication management to stabilize clients. Pharmaceutical acute detox is available.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
Phase one of treatment lasts for six months and includes outpatient therapy and medication management to stabilize clients and help them detox. Treatment takes place three times a week and can help individuals with co-occurring mental issues, such as anxiety, bipolar disorder, and ADHD.
Phase two consists of the facility’s aftercare program.
According to its website, Addiction Treatment Services uses “Structure-Organization-Discipline” behavioral interventions to have an impact on a client’s “Sleep-Exercise-Diet.”
Treatment includes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and individual and group therapy. It focuses on learning conceptual and contextual learning strategies that clients best understand.
Family members and support persons are educated about addiction. Family education, intervention, and support sessions take place once per week.

Staff members are available to clients 24/7. The treatment team includes a physician, case managers, therapists, addiction educators, and a psychologist.

FINANCING
According to the facility’s website, it does not accept health insurance. Treatment in phase one costs $7,500. Treatment in phases two costs $2,500.
