ABOUT VICTORY CLINICAL SERVICES – LANSING
Victory Clinical Services offers treatment for adults with opiate abuse disorders through a state-licensed methadone program, and behavioral health services for program participants with five locations in Michigan and Northern Indiana. The Lansing, Mich. location, housed in the south end of the city in a nondescript, low-rise building, offers short and long-term outpatient-based, medication-assisted treatment (MAT).
It is one of the state’s 78 (16.3 percent) treatment centers where medically supervised detox is also available. The facility also offers both opioid withdrawal assistance, as well as withdrawal assistance from addiction medications, such as methadone, through dosage reduction.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
Admission to the program requires a program eligibility screening which can be conducted by phone or in person, and an in-person assessment and medical evaluation by staff. A treatment plan is established at the end of this process taking into account each client’s preferences.
Treatment at Victory Clinical Services is holistic and designed to address the individual needs of each client. The methadone maintenance program involves an array of medical and counseling services designed to improve the client’s quality of life and to educate clients and family members on the disease of addiction. Along with methadone, the facility also offers Suboxone and Vivitrol maintenance programs.
Along with MAT, Victory Clinical Services offer individual counseling, addiction education, life skills education, group therapy, case management, peer recovery supports, urinalysis and breathalyzer testing, and relapse prevention and aftercare. One of the two alumni polled by Best-rehabs.com to date indicated they received two hours of individual counseling each month, saw a doctor every month, and attended weekly meetings.
