Haven Chemical Health Systems, established in 2000, operates four outpatient and three residential facilities in Minnesota. The IOP is held on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings from 6 to 9 p.m. The outpatient programs are divided into three different levels of intensity, allowing individuals to progress at their own pace. Clients start by attending three sessions per week and gradually transition to two and then one session per week based on their needs. The program typically lasts for three months. Additionally, a family program for loved ones of clients is held every other Thursday.
In addition to the IOP, the facility provides relapse prevention services. This includes individual and group counseling, family groups, lectures, audiovisual aids, education on the relapse process, and development of a relapse prevention plan.
Case management services are available to address complicating factors not fully addressed in traditional treatment. These services include individual substance abuse treatment sessions, group sessions, assistance in finding sober living options, transportation to appointments, and coordination of employment, educational, medical, and mental health services.
