ABOUT ALLEGANY COUNCIL ON ALCOHOLISM AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE (ACASA)

Since 1973, Allegany Council on Alcoholism and Substance Abuse (ACASA) has been providing assistance to individuals recovering from chemical dependency disorders. ACASA operates various facilities in Wellsville, N.Y., including a men’s residential rehab and separate clinics for outpatient treatment. Additionally, ACASA offers a comprehensive range of services for adults, children, and their families, specifically addressing drug and gambling addiction disorders.

ACASA also conducts an impaired driver program aimed at educating convicted offenders about the dangers of driving under the influence of chemical substances.

TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT

Clients undergo thorough assessments and evaluations, including medical evaluations, in order to develop a comprehensive treatment plan. ACASA provides individual and group counseling, child and family therapy, interventions, vocational and educational support, and training.
