ABOUT BRIDGE BACK TO LIFE CENTER – NASSAU-SUFFOLK CENTER
Bridge Back to Life Center is a health organization that operates outpatient substance abuse clinics in New York City, Brooklyn, and Staten Island. The Nassau-Suffolk Center in Bethpage, New York, provides ambulatory detox and outpatient programming for adolescents and adults with substance and alcohol abuse and co-occurring disorders.

TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT

Specific group programming for older adults, women, young adults, and adolescents is offered, as is gender-specific groups.
Family members can attend a free psycho-educational program and counseling to better understand addiction.
The center offers outpatient treatment for military members and a weekly group for professionals.
LGBTQ individuals can participate in intensive outpatient programming (IOP), relapse prevention, and the 12-steps.

Bridge to Life Center employs licensed social workers and mental health counselors, psychologists, and physicians.
WHAT ALUMNI SAY
Though Best-rehabs.com has not yet received feedback from the facility’s alumni, third-party sites reveal negative experiences.
On Google, six reviewers gave the facility an average 2.2 out of five stars. “If you really need help, spend your money elsewhere because these people do not know how to help people that are sick,” wrote Patrick on the site.
Negative responses continued on CiteHealth, where two alumni expressed disappointment in the programming available and wrote of problems with affordability.
Similarly, on Yellowpages.com, an anonymous alum wrote: “The head of the Bethpage office is a clueless. all they care about is [your] insurance. Had a counselor make sexual advances and the list goes on and on. Go somewhere else. Total SHAM!!!!!!”
WHAT FRIENDS & FAMILY SAY
One family member responding to a Best-rehabs.com poll at this time of writing gave the center mediocre three out of four star ratings to the center’s treatment effectiveness, accommodations, and treatment for co-occurring disorders. The anonymous reviewer wrote that the “Well established” center “is run efficiently with courteous and attentive staff.”

Bridge Back to Life Center accepts most major health insurance plans, Medicaid, and Medicare and provides financial assistance for qualifying individuals.
