  • This is a life changing facility. After many failed attempts a family member came here and the classes and meetings changed their life. Group meetings, family meetings each week along with private family sessions. They helped our family to understand addiction and helped our family member to understand how to quit and how to stay clean. Our whole family left with the tools we needed to help our family member to succeed in life. Thank you

  • This facility accepts folks with or without insurance(or a means to pay) So you see all walks of life there. It is an old air force base facility. So its not that fancy but it is one of the most effective programs in the state.

  • The state of North Carolina should investigate and stop funding this useless facility. The staff will provoke you... They get state aid for each person that qualifies and I feel that they do there best to make sure you leave early. This is a money making privately held facility that... is only concerned with profit. There are no classes or meetings on the weekends. NOTHING. Just sit around and wait every minute out until Monday. No weekend visitation or allow anyone to resupply your personal items. Weekdays only and at very tight specific times which makes them almost impossible to comply with. There needs to be a thorough investigation into the facility. With all of the people who need help it is a shame that this facility simply spits them out as quickly as they can make them quit, just to collect another payment from the state for the next poor soul. Its a shame. What a waste. This is my opinion and I will be surprised if it is posted. Actually I'll be shocked if it's posted.

  • The only area thing I would change is the length of the program. It's a two week program with an additional week if detox is needed. It's just not long enough for an entrenched addict. I think they have a great little program with wonderful staff. It's just too short.

  • Helpful non insured patients. Nurses should respect more the disease a client is trying to fix. Should be more activities for patients. They help as much as they can but need to be more one on one with individuals.

  • Monitoring the clients and sticking to the rules was a strong point. Some of the staff were unfriendly. I was terrified at first but the first night the nurses were super sweet and checked on me a lot. After the detox part I spend 14 dAys going to treatment classes and sticking to a stick schedule. At first all I wanted to do with as go home, but at the end I wanted to stay there. It's take a couple days to get used to but it was a good place to start recovery.

  • Well trained staff that cared about the clients. Too many people and not enough staff. Low funding caused a quick turnover. It seemed unless you were a danger to yourself, once they had you detoxed, they wanted to toss you out and give you outpatient treatment. More funding would greatly help

  • The facility's counselors are very knowledgable in their profession. The program is only 14 days. In the two weeks I was there, it taught me many tools to stay clean. The staff were very professional.
