ABOUT VA PITTSBURGH HEALTHCARE SYSTEM – UNIVERSITY DRIVE CAMPUS

The University Drive Campus of the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System (VAPHS), which is located in the Oakland section of Pittsburgh, Pa., offers numerous treatment options for veterans struggling with substance use disorder and/or mental health problems. Services include both residential and outpatient treatment, as well as on-site detoxification.

The University Drive Campus is home to the Center for Treatment of Addictive Disorders (CTAD), which offers a full continuum of addiction treatment services, from assessment and outpatient consultation to residential rehab.

In addition to substance use disorder, the University Drive Campus offers treatment for a variety of mental health problems including depression and anxiety, PTSD, anger management, memory problems, self-harming behaviors, and vocational issues.   • It was not a good facility to try to recover at. A lot of very sick veterans there and they had little time to give each vet. They kept me somewhat safe from harm.
