ABOUT BRADFORD HEALTH SERVICES – NASHVILLE

In operation for over 30 years, Bradford Health Services is a large network of addiction treatment centers that offers a full continuum of rehabilitation services. One of 29 facilities located throughout parts of Alabama, Florida, Arkansas, and Tennessee, the Nashville location provides intensive outpatient (IOP) programs and continuing care to adults and adolescents ages 13 and older who are struggling with chemical dependency. Outpatient medical detoxification is offered on-site for adults.

TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT

Upon admission, clients participate in an initial multidisciplinary assessment to ensure the outpatient program is an appropriate level of care. Bradford Health Services’ abstinence-based treatment program utilizes a 12-step framework that plays an integral role throughout treatment. Along with attending 12-step meetings and performing “step work,” clients also participate in a weekly schedule of small group counseling sessions and educational classes. Adventure-based programs may also be utilized as well as individualized academic programs.

Although sessions focus primarily on relapse prevention training, the programs incorporate topical relevancy to address the specific needs of its clientele (i.e. adults versus adolescents). The Nashville location also encourages family involvement through its family program, which offers support and addiction education to loved ones. Family participation in Al-Anon is also recommended.

To assist in long-term sobriety, adult and adolescent graduates of the program may take advantage of the facility’s continuing care services. These services include referrals to the alumni association, ongoing monitoring, and various resources to enhance 12-step involvement.
