Our mission is to promote a foundation in recovery from alcohol, drugs and other related behaviors by providing a safe and structured environment. We provide independent sober living and Intensive Outpatient services for both men and women. Our programs emphasize honesty, trust, and respect so clients can heal with the help of a nurturing 12-step based home where coping and communication skills are encouraged. This allows a safe way of learning to live when getting out of a rehabilitation environment or a home that was of complete isolation. Our focus is to provide a peaceful and structured sober community in which residents are proactive in their recovery while learning to address their needs and problems in a mature manner. We are supporters of the continuum care model of recovery. It’s important to us and our clients that they attend our Intensive Outpatient Program. We feel that it’s important to have a strong clinical foundation as well as having a quality of living that is conducive to ones sobriety and personal growth. This will enable confidence and self worth, while learning how to build on their strengths and utilize the tools provided by our compassionate staff as well a 12-step program. Our structured sober living is instrumental in building a new way of living. It will not feel normal in early recovery but this allows each person to help each other remain disciplined with the day to day things that are essential to maintain a strong foundation for long term sobriety.
ABOUT STAGES OF RECOVERY, INC.
Located in Lubbock, Texas, Stages of Recovery, Inc. provides adults and adolescents with independent sober living and intensive outpatient services for drug and alcohol addiction. The facility is designed for individuals in early recovery who may need extra support while they learn to navigate and establish a long-term sober lifestyle. Detox is not available on-site.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
Treatment at Stages of Recovery, Inc. begins with an assessment to determine what type of treatment clients qualify for at Stages of Recovery. The results of the assessment are used to qualify clients for different programs, as well as to identify the specific treatment needs of each client. Clients are assigned to the appropriate programs.
The facility operates on a Matrix Model of treatment but also utilizes the 12-Steps principles. Clients also participate in weekly group therapy sessions with a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and can take advantage of sober coaching services provided by a partner facility for an additional fee.
For adolescents, Stages of Recovery, Inc. provides Recovery High School, where clients take classes through the accredited Texas Tech University School District on a schedule oriented with recovery. Adolescents may also attend an IOP program.
There is a specialized program for professionals returning to work. The program focuses on educating clients on ways to use sober living skills in the workplace. Coping skills also play a big part of the training to help clients deal with the added stress of working.
Family participation is encouraged throughout treatment. Family counseling and other services can be provided. Clients are also encouraged to get family members involved in community-based support programs.
STAFF CREDENTIALS
The staff-to-client ratio at Stages of Recovery, Inc. is 1:7 and the clinical director is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). The facility also employs doctoral-level counselors, recovery coaches, house managers, and licensed therapists.
ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES
Stages of Recovery, Inc. operates The Door, a sober living facility. The apartments are gender-specific, fully furnished, and offer both private and semi-private bedrooms, along with kitchens, cable TV, Internet access, and washer/dryers. House managers live on-site and administer regular and random drug and alcohol screenings. There are three-month, six-month, and one-year leases available.

FINANCING
Stages of Recovery, Inc. accepts private insurance and offers financial assistance to clients who qualify. Fees for sober living range from $565 – $665 per month for men and $795 – $895 per month for women.
