ABOUT VOLUNTEERS OF AMERICA TEXAS: SUBSTANCE ABUSE TREATMENT
Volunteers of America Texas is a faith-based, nonprofit agency that has been dedicated to assisting the vulnerable since 1917. Located in Fort Worth, one of the organization’s thirty-plus locations, it offers outpatient addiction treatment for adult men and women while simultaneously addressing the issues of homelessness and poverty.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
The outpatient treatment program in Fort Worth is designed to help men and women overcome their dependence on drugs and alcohol. Along with this, the program provides various support services to aid in their recovery. Participants will have access to job training programs, housing and financial assistance, and parenting classes. The program also addresses other underlying issues such as domestic abuse and trauma. Specialized programs are available for pregnant women and young mothers.
