Operating multiple locations across the U.S., including five in Washington State, Ideal Option provides outpatient-based treatment for clients seeking treatment for chemical dependency. The Washington State facilities, which are located in Everett, Kennewick, Mt. Vernon, Spokane, and Yakima, all specialize in a combination of counseling andmedication-assisted treatment (MAT) to treat its clientele.

Ideal Option’s primary method of treatment is medication-assisted therapy (MAT) to help minimize the discomfort of withdrawal and help curb cravings. To individualize treatment, each client is assessed to determine which treatment method and medications may be most effective. Pending a medical review, clients are then able to participate in an appropriate MAT regimen.

The facility offers MAT for alcohol and opiate abuse utilizing a range of evidence-based medications, including Suboxone, Subutex, Naltrexone, Vivitrol, and others. Ideal Option facilities are among the 20.6% of U.S. facilities to utilize Suboxone for opioid dependency.

Along with participation in MAT, clients also participate in counseling and other behavioral therapies to help address the underlying causes that may have led to substance abuse. Clients may participate in individual sessions, specialized group counseling sessions, coping skills workshops, alternative therapies, and more.

Ideal Option has a team of medical staff members that specialize in addiction medicine and addiction therapy. The facility ensures that its operations and treatment methods comply with the guidelines established by SAMHSA and the ASAM to improve the safety and efficacy of MAT treatments.
