ABOUT WEST SOUND TREATMENT CENTER
Incorporated in 1981 and located in Port Orchard, Washington, West Sound Treatment Center offers intensive outpatient (IOP), outpatient (OP), and aftercare treatment to adult clients. Detox services are not available.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
Treatment is based on a Matrix Model Curriculum, covering six key clinical areas: individual and group therapy, early recovery, relapse prevention, family education, social support, and random urine testing. Services offered include supportive housing, personal case management, mental health counseling, and more.
West Sound’s Compass Vocational Services program helps unemployed and underemployed individuals improve their career prospects. Services include individual vocational navigation, an intensive vocational assessment, and career-seeking skills workshops. Only certain individuals with qualifications such as low-income or veteran status are eligible.
One of West Sound’s clinics located within Kitsap Jail, the New Start Program provides incarcerated clients with chemical dependency treatment and re-entry services. The program is voluntary and includes a comprehensive assessment. Continuing care, support services, and transitional housing are available to incarcerated clients upon finishing their sentence.

FINANCING
West Sound’s website posts no information on rates or financial options for its treatment, but both CiteHealth and HealthGrove report that the facility accepts Medicaid, state insurance, and military insurance.
