ABOUT PEACEHEALTH SOUTHWEST BEHAVIORAL HEALTH

PeaceHealth, a nonprofit, Catholic healthcare system, operates 10 facilities located in Alaska, Oregon, and Washington. PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center, the Vancouver, Wash., location, provides behavioral health services through an outpatient clinic located within the hospital. Daily operating hours are between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT

PeaceHealth staff’s goal is to treat each patient individually and holistically. Prior to enrollment, the center’s clinical team meets with each client to discuss their current situation and concerns as they relate to medical conditions, familial and social relationships, and cultural and religious background. Based on assessment findings, the clinical team works with the client to determine the most appropriate course of treatment, which typically includes individual, group, and family counseling, as well as educational components and medication management.

STAFF CREDENTIALS

According to PeaceHealth’s website, the center’s treatment team includes a licensed marriage and family therapist, a clinical social worker, a clinical pharmacist, and nurses.

When asked how likely they were to recommend this facility to others, the one loved one polled by Best-rehabs.com at the time of this writing provided a rating of three out of five stars. This survey respondent submitted average to above-average ratings in most evaluated categories, including the program’s treatment effectiveness and counseling options, which they rated with four stars. They gave the center’s holistic offerings, family participation, and treatment for co-occurring disorders three-star ratings.

This loved one felt that staff seemed to care about clients’ recovery, but that the center’s policy on client communication needed to be revised. “They are great they care, there is somethings they need to work on to be a better option and have a less of a relapse rate,” they wrote.

PeaceHealth accepts Medicare and most insurance plans, including those from Aetna, Cigna, and Humana. Some financial assistance is available to qualifying individuals.

They seem to care about your recovery most of the time. They need to adjust their commucation policy so people don't have contact with others right away which can make their rehab harder. They are great they care, there is somethings they need to work on to be a better option and have a less of a relapse rate.
