ABOUT RECOVERY RESOURCES, INC.
Established in 1991, Recovery Resources, Inc. operates a Codependency Recovery Workshop (CRW) for individuals, couples, and families seeking to recover their lives and relationships. Based in Daphne, Alabama, the 12-week workshop combines clinically-backed research with the principles of Alcoholics Anonymous. The facility also offers gender-specific programming if preferred.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
Recovery Resources views codependency as the overwhelming stress in adult life that stems from unresolved painful experiences rooted in childhood. They believe that if left untreated, codependency will result in relationship problems and/or addictive behaviors. To address these issues, the center offers a workshop for individuals with issues related to alcohol and drug abuse, sex, romance, infidelity, relationship problems, anger, depression, anxiety, and more.
Sessions are held during the evening to accommodate daytime commitments. The 12-week program consists of small discussion groups and relationship counseling. Participants learn about the recovery process, stress management, and achieving balance in daily life. Referrals to a primary program are provided when necessary, and former participants sometimes return to the workshop for ongoing support. There are also continuing care groups available for men, women, and both genders.

The founders of Recovery Resources, a married couple, have over 40 years of professional experience in addiction and mental health treatment. In Alabama, the vast majority (99.4 percent) of substance abuse treatment centers require continuing education for their staff.
