ABOUT DESERT COVE RECOVERY
Located near the Scottsdale Airport in Scottsdale, Arizona, Desert Cove Recovery offers residential treatment for adult men and women struggling with alcoholism, drug addiction, and dual diagnosis. Our center specializes in treating individuals who have experienced chronic relapse or require longer-term care beyond the usual 30-day residential stay, with treatment durations available in increments of 30, 60, and 90 days.
While medical detox is not available on-site, Desert Cove can provide referrals to local detox partners when necessary.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
Our treatment approach is rooted in the 12-Steps, and is complemented by a holistic program that incorporates outdoor therapies and evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical motivation interviewing, and trauma resolution. Individual and small-group therapy are key components of our treatment, each delivered within the context of the 12-step method. Equine therapy is also offered bi-monthly.
Desert Cove employs dedicated aftercare therapists who assist clients in developing relapse-prevention plans and can provide referrals to sober-living facilities when necessary. Graduates are encouraged to continue attending aftercare meetings at Desert Cove and remain active within their local 12-step community.
STAFF CREDENTIALS
Our staff includes a board-certified MD, a registered nurse, licensed substance abuse counselors, and therapists with master’s or bachelor’s degrees. Many staff members have personal experience with addiction.
