ABOUT MIRACLE CENTER
Founded in 1999 and based in Tuscon, Ariz., Miracle Center offers faith-based residential treatment for those struggling with homelessness and substance abuse. On-site detoxification is not available.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
Following an interview, clients admitted to Miracle Center will participate in faith-based programming that includes life skill classes and 12-step meetings. Clients will regularly participate in Bible studies, chapel and church services, and will have a Christian sponsor throughout the program. Participants will create a financial plan and budget their money.
Space is limited at Miracle Center, although its website does not state how many beds it hosts. Two months before graduating, clients will look for jobs and housing with the assistance of counselors and a clothing consultant.
According to Miracle Center’s website, two directors run Miracle Center, which also employs three managers. All directors and managers have experience in recovery from substance use, homelessness, or both.
