ABOUT A NEW BEGINNING
Based in Scottsdale, Ariz., A New Beginning is an outpatient treatment facility that helps adults and adolescents recover from eating disorders, mental health problems, and alcohol and drug addiction.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
All clients receive a comprehensive one-hour assessment upon admission to determine the appropriate level of care. The facility’s customized intensive outpatient program (C-IOP) provides clients with personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs.
A la carte outpatient services are also offered and include individual counseling, group and family therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and a wide range eating disorder groups broken up by age.
A New Beginning does not prescribe medication, but can refer clients to psychiatrists or psychiatric nurse practitioners in the area if medication is needed.
