ABOUT ADDICTION CENTER FOR HEALING
Located in an office building in suburban Orange County, southern California, Addiction Center for Healing offers outpatient services at a variety of intensities as well as a recovery concierge planning, for adults struggling with addiction to alcohol and/or drugs. Aftercare services and sober living facilities for men are also available. The center offers treatment for dually diagnosed clients.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
Addiction Center for Healing uses a physio-psychological model, meaning that it addresses the physical, chemical, and biological functions of addiction. In particular, the facility is dedicated to healing the physical effects of addiction, through unusual treatments such as UV light therapy, hydrotherapy, infrared sauna detox, massage, and tailored vitamin programs. The center also provides an introduction to the 12-Steps, plus individual and group counseling, which often uses evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and meditation.
The center offers an intensive outpatient program (IOP) and general outpatient care. The IOP is offered in the evenings, three or four nights a week, and includes programming on topics such as spirituality, the Stages of Change model, post-acute withdrawal syndrome (PAWS), and relapse prevention. General outpatient care is offered at tailored times and intensities, and the center also offers aftercare, though details of the aftercare program are not provided at the time of this writing.
The recovery concierge can schedule treatment as well as extras such as nutritional counseling, catered meals, integrative medical therapies, yoga, spa services, and life coaching.
