Canyon View Treatment Center is an alternative to fixed length residential treatment center programs. These programs typically run for 30, 60, or 90 days, and they can be prohibitively expensive for many families. Additionally, they often offer little individual guidance. As a Client Centered substance abuse treatment program, we are dedicated to addressing the root causes that led your loved one to self-medicating, acting out, and making negative lifestyle choices. These issues are usually accompanied by mental health disorders, which perpetuate a downward cycle. By focusing on our clients and their families, we have seen that both addicts and alcoholics respond, relate, and become engaged.
ABOUT CANYON VIEW TREATMENT CENTERS
Overlooking Weir Canyon Wilderness, Canyon View Treatment Centers is a residential substance abuse treatment facility for adult men and women. We provide on-site sub-acute detox services, as well as Naltrexone treatment.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
Prior to admission, clients must complete an intake evaluation, which can be done by phone. The treatment at Canyon View is highly individualized and designed to focus on each client’s “independent thinking modality.” Using CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) and CBR (cognitive behavioral renewal) techniques, we help clients understand and interpret their thinking patterns in order to identify negative, self-defeating thoughts that lead to poor decision-making and substance abuse.
The program includes gender-specific group therapy, one-on-one counseling, nutritional education, life coaching, and experiential activities such as hiking in the Weir Canyon Wilderness.
STAFF CREDENTIALS
Our treatment team includes a staff of clinical therapists, including a certified addictions treatment counselor with over 20 years of experience in the substance abuse treatment industry.
ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES
Clients reside in two gender-specific homes. Images on our facility’s website showcase scenic views, living rooms with fireplaces, fully equipped kitchens, and shared bedrooms in both facilities. Our chefs prepare and serve daily meals.
