According to Kaiser Permanente’s website, the Chemical Dependency Recovery Program (CDRP) is designed to assist clients in obtaining and maintaining long-term sobriety. Programming includes group counseling, educational classes, and life skills training, where clients develop coping techniques and strategies to prevent relapse.
Although the Fresno location does not provide emergency psychiatric treatment, mental health services are available by appointment. Services typically run Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with additional groups and classes taking place after hours as well.
STAFF CREDENTIALS
Kaiser Permanente’s website notes that it employs psychiatrists, addiction medicine physicians, psychologists, social workers, marriage and family therapists, medical social workers, and psychiatric clinical nurse specialists. However, it is not clear what staff is available at each location.

The loved one polled by Best-rehabs.com provided a positive review, rating counseling options, staff’s level of training and experience, and the likelihood of recommending Kaiser Permanente with four out of five stars. They described the program as “very family oriented”, highlighting family involvement as a facility strength.
To date, the 15 people who left Google Reviews gave an average rating of 4.6 out of five stars, mostly providing positive commentary. Reviewers praised the treatment team and commended the care provided by the doctors and the presence of an on-site pharmacy.
The eight people who left Yelp reviews at the time of this writing gave an average rating of 2.5 out of five stars, offering mixed feedback.

However, a drug education coordinator who worked here shared their enthusiasm with Glassdoor, stating: “Best company I have ever worked for.
