ABOUT TWIN TOWN TREATMENT CENTERS
Twin Town Treatment Centers (TTTC) operate five substance abuse treatment facilities in Los Angeles and Orange County. The Orange County location treats both adults and adolescents aged 12 to 17 through its suite of programs, which include day treatment, intensive outpatient treatment (IOP), aftercare, and a relapse program. TTTC also offers drug and alcohol education and alumni groups, and counselors can coordinate detox services for those who require medical attention (though detox is not offered on-site).
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
The treatment process at TTTC begins with an initial interview and assessment at no cost. Based on findings from this assessment, clients may be enrolled in day treatment, which includes eight hours of services per day for up to six days a week, or the IOP, which consists of three hours of programming a day for up to six days a week. Each client receives his or her own customized treatment program, which can include individual counseling, 12-step groups, family and group counseling, and educational workshops.
Twelve-step fellowship is an important part of TTTC’s treatment process. Clients may attend meetings, obtain a sponsor, and work the steps. Clients may also attend family counseling, which helps to repair relationships and build a stronger support network. Family services are offered in 85.1% of treatment facilities.
As participants progress through a program’s phases, their number of weekly treatment hours decreases. Graduates of these programs may participate in aftercare program and join TTTC’s alumni support group.
According to the facility’s website, 71 percent of clients report continuous sobriety at nine-month follow-up appointments. A relapse track, which includes 10 sessions of intensive outpatient treatment, is available to individuals who have completed the intensive outpatient program but experienced a relapse.
