ABOUT LAKEVIEW HEALTH
Located in northern Florida in the city of Jacksonville, Lakeview Health offers gender-specific residential programming and outpatient treatment for adults dealing with addiction and co-occurring disorders. Medically-monitored detoxification is offered on-site.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
If needed, clients can start treatment with medically-monitored detoxification. Clients are admitted following an assessment that includes a medical exam and psychiatric evaluation. Gender-responsive treatment includes adhering to 12-step principles. Clients will undergo individual therapy, educational classes, and recreational therapies like yoga, equine therapy, music and art therapy, and exercise. Group topics include trauma, life trauma, spirituality, mindfulness, pain recovery, and relapse prevention training.
An inpatient program directed toward professionals is available as is specialized family programs.
Clients may continue into step-down treatment options like intensive outpatient programming (IOP).
After completing residential or inpatient treatment, clients can participate in partial hospitalization programming (PHP) to ease into sober living. Clients will live off-site, participate in 12-step meetings weeknights, and have the option of participating in meetings, visits, and team-building activities on weekends.
Lakeview Health offers Aftercare support in the form of monthly meetings and activities, follow-up phone calls, and other alumni events.
STAFF CREDENTIALS
Lakeview Health employs medical doctors and nurses, licensed therapists, psychiatrists, case managers, addiction counselors, clinical social workers, and an aftercare coordinator. A music therapist, a recreation therapist, and an art therapist are in charge of holistic programming.
ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES
Residents at Lakeview Health will live in gender-specific facilities. Residents will share rooms with one roommate. The women’s and men’s facilities have access to a meditation garden, spa, lounge, and dining area.
Meals are prepared on-site by a chef who works with a nutritionist. Lakeview Health offers an on-site swimming pool, game room, and exercise facility. Clients can choose to take day trips to local parks, beaches, and more.

On Glassdoor, thirteen reviewers gave Lakeview Health an average of 3.9 out of five stars. Many reviewers called management supportive, though one individual felt that the facility was understaffed.
FINANCING
Lakeview Health accepts most major insurance companies like Aetna and Blue Cross Blue Shield as well as private pay options and credit cards. Personal checks aren’t accepted. Lakeview Health does not accept Medicare and Medicaid.
