The Seaside Sober Living program provides a supportive and secure environment for young adult men to continue their recovery journey after completing rehabilitation. Recognizing addiction as a chronic and progressive disease that affects families, Seaside aims to facilitate a successful and sustainable recovery process by offering aftercare treatment centered on character building and family values.
ABOUT SEASIDE HOUSE
Located in Jupiter, Florida, Seaside House offers a long-term sober living program for men recently discharged from primary substance abuse treatment. This transitional program consists of three phases and heavily relies on the 12-Step model of recovery. It emphasizes accountability and prepares clients for lifelong sobriety. The duration of treatment varies, and residents must enroll in school, secure employment, or find volunteer opportunities in the community. Detoxification services are not provided, but daily drug testing is conducted at no extra cost.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
Upon admission, every client is assigned a case worker whom they meet with weekly. The first phase of the program focuses on personal reflection and community engagement through attending meetings and setting educational or vocational goals. Seaside House offers various workshops to cultivate self-reliance and job preparedness. In the second and third phases, clients gain independence and can leave the facility unsupervised while fulfilling their work or school responsibilities. During the transition period, program staff collaborates with the individual to develop a comprehensive aftercare plan.

Seaside House Reviews
Seaside House in Tequesta only cares about one thing...MONEY!! I was demanded 2 months payment in advance for $6,000 per month plus $4,000 for administrative fees?? for a total of $16,000. After being pressured by Ryan(one of the owners) several days prior to my son going that he needed to get in immediately,we paid the money and took him there hoping that he would get best of care. After 12 days he had a relapse and was immediately discharged. After pleading with them for some kind of refund after only being there for 12 days was refused by Ryan stating"It's company policy...No Refunds". I reached out to Ryan's father Kevin Deasy(the other owner) hoping that he would have more compassion for my situation was told that I had to deal with Ryan. I tried to call Kevin a few other times and was hung up on each time. They have since blocked my phone number from trying to contact them. I thought this place was supposed to help people, not turn their back on them and take their families money for making a mistake. I read a lot of other reviews and saw that there were more families that were "robbed"like us.

Great program!!! Did wonders for my son and he wouldn’t be where he is today without the help of all the people at Seaside.
We had a horrible experience with Seaside. Our son reported that the place was dirty and disorganized, and Seaside’s handling of financial matters was unfair, off-market and downright shameful. Unlike many other sober living facilities, Seaside demands payment of three months’ fees in advance (over $26,000), and their invoice states that their “policy” is to keep one month’s fees if the client leaves during the first month. The program did not work out for our son, so he left after 7 days. Seaside forced him to sign a release when he left even though he is a troubled kid and did not even read the release. They then claimed that they were entitled to keep the entire three months’ fees based on the release. It was only after weeks of requests and the exertion of some outside pressure that Seaside finally agreed to refund two months’ fees. They kept over $10,000 for a 7 day stay. Needless to say, you should think long and hard about doing business with these people.
This facility is full of empty promises. At the end of the day this is a business and that is what they want from you - your business. They will try and keep individuals as long as they can and will manipulate the person in charge of financial decisions. Be warned that this facility is not as is described by their website or by the owners (who are rarely involved). They also will lie and manipulate to let you think everything is included in their fees - that is not true at all. Do your research and know that all of these types of facilities are connected and know each other so they will refer the individual seeking care not for the individuals benefit. Bottom line - this facility did not provide the treatment and support that it described but it did provide a nice hefty bill that some would need to take out loans for and be paying off for the rest of their lives.
