ABOUT THE RIGHT PLACE RESIDENTIAL DETOX
Located in a residential area a few miles from the beach in suburban South Florida, the Right Place is a private center offering medical detox on an inpatient, residential basis. According to its website, the center is equipped to help clients dealing with recovery from any addictive substance.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
The Right Place subscribes to the disease concept of addiction, and aims to offer multidisciplinary, holistic, and client-centered therapeutic care alongside medical treatment. By the end of treatment, The Right Place aims to have provided the knowledge and skills necessary to prevent relapse and help clients to achieve a substance-free life.
Treatment begins with an assessment of the client’s medical and therapeutic needs. After assessment, subsequent medical care is based on blood tests and medical diagnoses. Therapeutic services consist of individual and group therapy and optional on-site AA meetings, and the center also offers massage therapy and acupuncture.
The center has relationships with several long- and short-term treatment centers, and can provide referrals. Even those clients who do not receive a referral for ongoing care work with staff before discharge to put together a support system and to build up life skills that will help assure continued recovery.
