The Adolescent Addiction Treatment program offers individualized treatment plans to children ages 13-18. The program uses 12 step methods, recreational activities, and family programming. Chestnut Health Systems encourages families to participate in their loved one’s treatment experience regardless of which program the family member is completing.

The anonymous loved one gave the facility four out of five stars for treatment effectiveness, three stars for accommodations & amenities, and three stars for meals & nutrition. He agreed that there are many counseling options to choose from, agreed that the facility is adequately equipped and staffed to treat co-occurring mental health problems, but disagreed when asked if the facility staff are experienced and well-trained. He felt that a strength of the facility was “It is close for the community.” When asked about weaknesses of Chestnut Belleville, he said “They kind of just push meds.”
