Reviews of Oschner North Shore left on secondary sites did not make specific reference to the psychiatric, behavioral medicine, or addiction treatment programs. Twenty-four Google reviews of the general hospital were split between positive and negative, averaging a rating of 2.8 out of five stars. Some praised for helpfulness, and others criticized staff for rudeness. Long wait times and efficient service also both received contradictory comments.[1]

Most metrics measuring specific aspects of treatment also reflected strong satisfaction, including ratings of four stars apiece for the quality of treatment for co-occurring addiction and mental illness, the availability of counseling approach options, and the level of staff training and experience. Opportunities for family participation, however, along with affordability of treatment, both received three stars.
